January is the month of new beginnings. Start 2022 eating well.
Invest in your dishes and lose yourself in the kitchen. Gather the family and invite them to try the Smoked Caldo Verde Minho. Get to know the recipe:
- 300g kale
- 600g potatoes
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 medium onions
- 1,5dl olive oil
- 1 meat sausage (you can buy it here)
- 120g SMOKED BARRIQUE (you can buy it here)
- 100g leek
- 3cl vinho verde
Wash the kale. In a pan with water and salt, a few moments before
boiling, add the kale and cook for 5 minutes
or until almost cooked. Cool it in water and ice.
Add all the other ingredients cut into smaller pieces
in a pan with olive oil and saute. Refresh with green wine and
then add the boiling water from the kale. Let it cook well.
Before shredding, remove the Minhofumeiro Meat Chorizo. Grind
and add the kale. While serving add two slices of MEAT CHOURIÇA
per bowl and the Minhofumeiro SMOKED BARRIQUE cut in
julienne and very crispy. Finish with a drizzle of olive oil on top.
