At Unique Flavours we want you to have an excellent Christmas Dinner! Therefore, we present you throughout this month Christmas starters and desserts to recreate for Christmas dinners and lunches. 🎄Today we present you a recipe for Alheira Croquettes.

Attention 🚨 This starter has a great risk of being irresistible 🤤


  • 1 Smoked Galo Minho Alheira sausage (you can find it here.)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 egg L
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley (Organic Parsley Sachet - Cantinho das Aromáticas, you can find it here.)
  • Japanese breadcrumbs (panko)
  • Olive oil to taste
  • Oil for frying
Method of Preparation:
  • Start by removing the skin from the sausage. Heat a pan with a little olive oil. Add the onion and the garlic, finely chopped, and then add the alheira sausage. Let everything braise very well.
  • Season with the chopped parsley, mix everything very well, and let it cook until it is homogeneous. Remove from the heat and let it cool.
  • Form small balls with the previous dough. Dip them in the beaten egg and breadcrumbs and fry them in plenty of hot oil. Remove, drain on absorbent paper and serve.
